 I have chosen this charity to raise funds for, in memory of my brothers Melvin and Mitchell. Melvin lost his life to the complications of diabetes at the age of 25 with Type I Diabetes. My brother Mitchell was diagnosed with Type II but was able to keep it under control however he passed away due to other medical problems. I also have two other brothers living who have been diagnosed with Type II diabetes so this disease is very much in the forefront of our family. I am hopeful that the money raised will help in some small way to aid in the research to enable the medical world to come up with a cure or better treatment.
